Carmen May, a native of Mobile, Alabama, brings her vast knowledge and experience to her role as a rehabilitation specialist. She is motivated to help patients dealing with physical injuries and impairments reach their functional goals so they can return to their normal activities. Carmen has a wide network of professional colleagues with whom she regularly discusses the current innovations in healthcare. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies include gardening, movies, music, art, exercise and healthy living. She enjoys community service and has donated and volunteered for various charities.
Education
Carmen completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of South Alabama. She is a certified registered nurse practitioner and has a master’s degree in both nursing and physical rehabilitation.

Her clinical background includes emergency and trauma care, treating orthopedic injuries, performing SSI disability exams, critical care, adolescent psychiatric care, primary care, managing acute and chronic conditions. She has held nursing positions in management, education, clinical and research.

Stephanie Wilson, a lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama, has experience in a variety of fields, allowing her to not only connect with patients during their time of need but also ensure their visits are as comfortable as possible. Stephanie is married with two daughters and shares a business with her husband right here in Mobile.

Stephanie is a proud graduate of McGill-Toolen Catholic High School in Mobile, Alabama, and is a certified medical assistant that’s capable in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Stephanie has spent the last 25 years in a variety of management positions both in the legal and medical fields.

Sarah Rice

Sarah Rice, a lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama, will often be the first point of contact for new patients. Sarah has an empathetic personality and delivers an unparalleled level of professionalism during each visit. Sarah has a young son that she actively guides in his daily life, loves reading novels and enjoys travelling when time permits!
Education
Sarah is a graduate of Baker High School in Mobile, Alabama, has completed coursework at Bishop State Community College and is currently enrolled at the University of West Alabama. In addition, Sarah is a certified nursing assistant.
Career
Although Sarah is the youngest among our team here at SAMR, her inpatient care experience and 5 years of experience with medical insurance and billing is invaluable to our practice.
